While we had a couple of people in the group that were apprehensive of crossing the bridge, the experience was well worth it, and both made it across without issues! The following walk was absolutely beautiful and we had such a nice time with the guide during and after the walk. Lunch was delicious and they were very accommodating to the dietary restrictions (gluten free for one, and no seafood for another). The whole group would absolutely recommend going again.”

Unfortunatelly, I could not do Arouca bridge because of height fear, but even staying near it was a great feeling. Our driver and guide José was friendly, cheerful and supportive. Also as an extra bonus he took a lot of fun pictures of the trip! Totally recommend this activity! We will be back for sure - maybe when there is more water in the river. But evens the water levels were lower - it was still a great adventure for us. So yes absolutely 5 stars. We also booked the lunch - it was a fantastic way to extend the nice trip. Cute restaurant and good food.…”

Our tour included lunch and the traditional lunch supplied in Arouca was probably the tastiest meal I have had so far in Portugal. Possibly our only negative was our driver from Porto to the suspension bridge & back. We found his driving a bit erratic, braking hard on the corners, then accelerating. I would suggest he sit in the back of a van while someone drive the same so he understands how a passenger gets thrown…”
